VIN Report Platform | SaaS UX/UI Design
The Challenge
People buy used cars without knowing the real history. Sellers hide damage, accidents and mileage. The client wanted to build a service that gives buyers fast, clear and trustworthy vehicle data before they pay.
My Role & Scope
Joined with a clear idea and two competitor references. I defined the process from day one: research, concept, landing and funnel design, report design. Analyzed 10 competitors total, their landing structures, copy and full funnel from VIN input to purchase. Built a functional wireframe to align on structure before any visual work. From there, two concepts, one chosen, and into full design.

Competitors Research
Analyzed 10 competitors in total. Broke it down into two parts: landing pages and conversion funnels. For each, mapped what worked, what didn't, and what we could do better.

Exploring Ideas
Created two concepts: friendly and official. Presented both to the client, we aligned on the friendly direction quickly and moved forward.
Desktop Refinements
Started with the landing page and UI kit foundations. The client approved the landing without a single revision. Continued with the funnel pages and report design.
Mobile Experience
Designed desktop first, but put extra focus on mobile. Most users check vehicle history on their phones, so the funnel had to work perfectly on small screens.
Results
The client received a fully clickable prototype covering the landing page, full conversion funnel and report design. All 40 hours delivered, all components built in Figma and ready for development. "Hey Vova, I think it's looking very good. I don't have anything big to add."
